"This was supposed to be a simple project to covert our wood-burning fireplace to an electric insert but turned into averting a potential disaster! Once the original insert was removed, we discovered our entire chimney was completely rotted. In addition, this was found the day before a hurricane was heading our way. Neither the customer or contractor ever likes bad news but were fortunate to have hired a knowledgeable, full-service contractor who was able to gather a crew to completely demo and rebuild the chimney and ensure it was safe to survive the storm. The fireplace came out beautiful and the chimney is restored but better than ever because they went above and beyond to resign and redirect the flow of water on our roof, ensuring there would be no future problems. They were also able to save or match our siding, saving money. Although no one likes a big, financially significant surprise, The owner, Paul did his best to explain the costs and negotiate as new issues arose. In addition, we were very pleased with the communication and impressive skill demonstrated by all of the workers caring for this project. Big “THANKS!” to all."
