We started Beach House Construction in 2021, and our team brings 25 years of combined hands-on experience in residential construction and large-scale remodeling. We work primarily with homeowners in Hilton Head, Bluffton, Okatee, Hardeeville, Beaufort, Port Royal, and Ridgeland. As a licensed residential builder in South Carolina, and as members of the Home Builders Association and BNI, we take pride in building homes the right way and standing behind our work.

Our Process
We believe a smooth build starts with a clear process. When you contact us by phone or through the website, we typically schedule an appointment within 3 to 5 days, usually within a week. After the meeting, we provide an estimate in about 7 days in most cases.
Once the project is approved, we move into the planning and selections phase. This stage usually takes around 2 to 4 weeks and covers the details that shape the final home, including layouts, finishes, materials, fixtures, flooring, lighting, and other key choices. After planning is complete, construction begins.
A typical custom home build takes about 6 to 8 months, with around 6 months being common depending on size, scope, selections, weather, site conditions, and permitting. During the build, we coordinate the trades, track progress, and keep the project moving. We know homeowners want straight answers, realistic timelines, and a contractor who finishes the job. That is a big part of how we run our company.

We keep custom home building clear, organized, and personal from the first call to the final walkthrough. Our process is built around honest communication, strong craftsmanship, realistic timelines, and a finished home that fits how you want to live.
Consultation, Site Review & Estimate
We start with a call or website inquiry, then meet with you within 3 to 5 days to discuss your vision, budget, lot conditions, and design goals. After the site review and scope discussion, we provide a detailed estimate in about 7 days so you can make a confident decision.
Selections, Planning & Build Prep
Once approved, we move into a 2 to 4 week planning phase where we finalize layouts, finishes, fixtures, allowances, and construction details. This step helps us align your custom home with your lifestyle, avoid surprises during the build, and set a realistic 6 to 8 month construction timeline.
Construction, Walkthrough & Warranty
Our licensed South Carolina builder team manages the home build from foundation to final trim, with steady communication and a focus on quality workmanship throughout the project. At completion, we walk the home with you, address final details, and stand behind our work with warranty coverage for labor, systems, and major structural defects.

Neither the customer or contractor ever likes bad news but were fortunate to have hired a knowledgeable, full-service contractor who was able to gather a crew to completely demo and rebuild the chimney and ensure it was safe to survive the storm. The fireplace came out beautiful and the chimney is restored but better than ever because they went above and beyond to resign and redirect the flow of water on our roof, ensuring there would be no future problems. They were also able to save or match our siding, saving money. Although no one likes a big, financially significant surprise, The owner, Paul did his best to explain the costs and negotiate as new issues arose.
